In 2018, he sold his interest as a broker/partner to his daughter, Karen and her other partners, Leigh Graham, Hernan Parada and Leo Ragusa.
In mid-2021, he semi-retired turning over his clients to his son, Chris and daughter Karen and spent the summer enjoying the outdoors.
In 2022, he decided to embark on a new mission in helping senior homeowners deal with retirement issues by consulting with them on various financing options available to them to solve lifestyle issues.
At 72, still healthy and enjoying what he does Brian realized that Covid and the recent unprecedented increase in Real Estate values have created a dilemma for seniors who either want to remain in their home or sell. Downsizing is difficult. Covid made many people realize their best choice may be to age in their home but that comes with a number of short-term and long-term considerations as they age.
As Brian says”I am now part of that group of “Boomers” that are ignored in mainstream banking (unless they have money)and could have lifestyle issues that need to be solved by someone who they can trust. I can relate to them and put my 50+ years of experience together with my experiences as a retired senior to help them”
He recently wrote a five-part information series entitled “The Downsizing Dilemma for Boomers-Sell/Move/Buy/Rent” that is being distributed locally and nationally to seniors via social media.
